About the event
Maria views Agility as a passion, which shows in her teaching others to love the sport as much as she does. If you have ever trained with Maria you will agree, she is a superb trainer.
Maria specialises in agility training using positive and fun methods and has been teaching others to have fun with their dogs since 2001.
Workshops with Maria are not one size fits all and they do not follow one specific handling system. Maria writes: 'I love how my agility handling has expanded over the last few years and I'm really embracing fun and exciting handling techniques that don't restrict me at all. I have loads of different ideas for helping all sorts of dogs and handlers improve their teamwork and course running.'
Over the years Maria has taken three dogs to their Australian Agility Championship in ADAA and has won multiple big events with different dogs at both ANKC and ADAA Nationals. Maria has also been a coach to the Australian Agility Team.
The Saturday and Sunday Sessions will be limited to a maximum of 8 dogs and Foundations on Friday to 6 dogs, however the Auditing Spots are great with a huge amount of information on fine tuning your training. Please note that if you are handling in one session you are very welcome to stay and audit the other session on the same day.
Saturday and Sunday are Indoors at the Highlands Valley Warmblood Stud near Mittagong. Friday is at Canine Ed on the farm at Mount Murray. If you are booked as a Handler for a session you are welcome to audit for the other half of the day. To Register Click Here
