About the event

Nose Work is a rewarding and fun activity designed to harness your dogs’ natural hunting/scent drive. Your dog has an amazing ability to detect scent and a natural instinct to hunt. Nose work is the most natural thing your dog can do!   Your class will focus on encouraging and developing your dog’s natural skills by using their curiosity and desire to hunt; in a reward based learning environment. Nose Work is an activity for all dogs, old and young, boisterous and shy, and can also be a great activity for dogs who need to work alone.   Whether you aim to compete towards obtaining titles, or want a new challenge, or simply to get out on the farm and enjoy some fun, Nose Work a brilliant way for all dogs to build confidence and engage them in some mental stimulus! Dogs love Nose Work and people do too!    Nose work is an activity that suits people of varying levels of mobility.   It engages and exercises your dog’s mind and you and your dog will also learn to work as a team.    So come to the farm, and having a great time with others like you, people who love their dog! Find out how good your dog’s nose really is! Class is limited to SIX dogs and will run Wednesday 10:30am-12:00noon with the lovely Alison Woolcott
